Herschel and his wife, Vicky, relocated to the Aiken area in 2000 for the excellent healthcare, moderate climate, great golfing and friendly people!  This gives him a good reference to help his clients who are considering the same option.

Prior to moving to Aiken, he had an extensive background in telecommunications engineering, marketing and sales in the Northern Virginia area, near DC. He also was a licensed real estate agent for 18 years. This background has prepared him well for the marketplace today, which relies heavily on the Internet.  He joined Eulalie Salley in 2002 and formed his own company, Fairway Realty, in 2007 in order to bring innovation to the marketing of real estate in the Aiken/Augusta area.  He specializes in marketing properties via the Internet and providing savings to buyers, sellers and builders.  His website is easily found and accessible by those considering relocating to the area and he is licensed to sell real estate in both South Carolina and Georgia.  

Herschel is an excellent source of information on golf courses and communities in Aiken County and the surrounding CSRA. He is a member of the Midland Valley Golf Assn, Aiken Seniors Golf Assn, CSRA Senior Golf Assn, and Ridge Senior Couples Golf Assn. 

In his spare time, you will usually find Herschel remodeling his home in Midland Valley.  He has extensive remodeling experience and often has a vision for what can be when a home may not suit the client as is and can suggest changes that could be made to accommodate their needs.

Herschel previously built two homes; one as the contractor and the other using a contractor but participating in the process.  He also is of great assistance to purchasers who want to consider buying a lot and building or to buy a new home.

Herschel's wife, Vicky who had a successful 15 year career as a Realtor in Northern Virginia and 3 years in Wilmington, NC has joined him at Fairway Realty.

Herschel especially likes working with prospects who are considering Aiken and/or Augusta and perhaps visiting for the very first time.  He enjoys taking them on a tour of the town, the historic and equestrian districts and answering all their questions about the area.
